Morgan Smith is a licensed lawyer in Tennessee and the District of Columbia. She interned at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and clerked at the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.
She has a B.A. from the New College of Florida and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law.
In the U.S., Morgan worked on large-scale litigation in Washington, D.C., before returning to Nashville to join TennCare and Medicaid at the Tennessee Department of Human Services. She left government work and went into private practice in June 2010.
